Hands Out 2000 Pints of Free Blue Bell Ice Cream to Park Cities Residents Dallas, Texas; July 6, 2000--- Doster Lighting, Inc., a leading landscape lighting company in the Park Cities, is celebrating the success of its First Annual 4th of July Ice Cream Giveaway. Thousands lined up on Tuesday to enjoy a free pint of Blue Bell ice cream at Goar Park, following the Park Cities 4th of July Parade. Doster volunteers were joined in the Doster tent by Amy Allman of Legend Airlines and by Jamie McMahn of GroceryWorks.com. Each company provided volunteers for the event and Park Cities residents stood in long lines for the opportunity to win 2 round-trip tickets anywhere Legend Airlines flies, even after the 2000 pints of ice cream had been given out. GroceryWorks.com provided a refrigerated truck to keep the Blue Bell ice cream cold in the summer heat. "This event was a great success," says Jim Doster, Owner of Doster Lighting, Inc.. He continues, "The response was so positive that we've decided to make it an annual tradition at the Park Cities 4th of July celebration."
